Cultivation and processing of hemp is currently not allowed in Mexico, and the sale of CBD products are currently in regulatory vacuum; however, there have been recent proposals to change this, seeking to legalise all forms of cannabis. This report provides an overview of the current regulatory landscape as well as providing analysis and discussion of the possible future regulations that could be implemented. In addition to covering hemp, extracts, finished products and import and export laws, it also explores medical and recreational cannabis law.
